Speech Bubble for Blender

Description

A speech bubble to make your characters talk in blender!

USAGE & TIPS

  • The SpeechBubble curve has a 'Child Of' constraint. Plug your camera in there so the bubble will always follow and point to your camera.

  • Adjust the outline and materials of the bubble in the Geometry Nodes panel. The setup is pretty easy and the important nodes have annotations of where to change the materials. You don't need to know geometry nodes.

  • You can draw the curve in edit mode and then fine tune the resulting bezier to your liking.

  • To get pointy bubbles (like screams) you can go to Active Spline -> ResolutionU and set it to 1 (there's an example for that in the project).

  • Check the images for more info.

KNOWN ISSUES

Sometimes the outline will bug a little in one of the points (like it is twisted). I have no idea what the hell is happening but you can either increase the curve resolution or add more points in the vicinity of the bugged one.
