Replicated the shading to the best of my abilities. May have missed some props. Textures are packed into the .blend file
If you're planning on Appending this project to any other file, MAKE SURE TO DISABLE SOFT SHADOWS AND INCREASE THE CUBE/CASCADE SIZE TO 4096.
The moment I learned that Telltale maps are designed as one giant setpieces that are then imported to the game engine, I knew I had to try my luck with TWAU. And it was true! To some extent
The maps generally are made out of giant .d3dmesh files, which are 3/4 of the level and then smaller props such as doors, lamps, desk fans, windows etc. The biggest pain are the textures - while the script applies the base textres, the cartoony black outlines are done using masks (part of their shading technique) and I had to go one by one applying them to each material, not to mention using paint.net to fix broken ones.
Still worth it though. I love the game too much to say no
